The most used material in commercial centers, would be foam letters. This is really a durable product, made for outdoor signage. It can painted to match any color. It can be cut or shaped to any form or size. You can also add acrylic faces or plastic, colored aluminum faces is another option.

Most of these locations stay open late and require lighting in order for there business to be seen. Some centers have lighted sign boxes with plastic faces and colored lettering. if your in one of these locations, they will require a state licensed electric sign contractor to install the sign.
